This is a tradition now, right? A gratitude post

Helloooooo, and happy winter!

At this point, doing a blog each December is sort of becoming a tradition. And you know what? I love it. It gives me a chance to pause and reflect on my year past, and think about things for the new year. Last year I listed goals for this year, and hot dog, I crushed all of them! For example, I leaned (more) into songwriting in 2025, and damn it felt good! Looking forward to how songwriting progresses in 2026!

This year's post I want to focus on gratitude. I always feel grateful, but 2025 has filled me with so so much to be grateful for--some which I'd worked hard for and came to fruition--others which took me by surprise, and some of course I'm grateful for year after year. All which has made my rich life all the more beautiful. Without delay, I present in no particular order, my (not extensive) gratitude list of 2025

  • The little things
  • Bunnies, doggies, and the wonderful humans who go with them
  • The breakfast cart near Columbus Circle
  • Pure Barre (Seriously LOVE this place. They are nationwide, and if you are looking for a fun fitness challenge, I highly recommend!)
  • My amazing colleagues and interns
  • My extensive list of podcast guests (especially the ones who I'm honored to call friends)
  • Hoka tennis shoes (not an ad, just grateful!)
  • Snoooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww
  • Ginger beer
  • All of my dear, dear friends near and far
  • Podcast press and 5 star reviews (each one of those are magical!)
  • Freeeeeee books and music
  • Fresh sea air
  • Stargazing
  • Office chocolate
  • Facetimes/Catchup calls with loved ones
  • The fantastic PR companies and agents who send me phenomenal guests
  • Concerts
  • G's dining table decorations
  • Heart emojis
  • Beets
  • The changing of the seasons
  • Music (making it, singing it, listening to it, playing it)
  • The beautiful feeling of being true to myself
  • Discovering a (new!) joy of cooking
  • Trips up the Hudson
  • The ever-growing number of podcast listeners (and places from which they hail)
  • Carrots
  • Twinkle lights

Regarding the podcast, it'll be celebrating it's 5th birthday on January 4th, 2026!!! I am ecstatic and extremely grateful the podcast has gone on for HALF A DECADE Wooooooooo and of course look forward to many, many more years! But I can't do it alone.
